| Well hellooooo xanga! I'm back to do what I do best. Make top ten lists. In this case the top ten movies of 2006 Here it is 10. Jesus Camp (Ewing and Grady) 9. Apocalypto (Gibson) 8. Children of Men (Cuaron) 7. United 93 (Greengrass) 6. Brick (Johnson) 5. Marie Antoinette (Coppola) 4. Friends With Money (Holofcener) 3. A Scanner Darkly (Linklater 2. Pan’s Labyrinth (Del Toro) 1. The Departed (Scorsese)
That's it. Overall, I liked a lot of things, but I didn't LOVE anything. oh well. 07 already has Smokin Aces goin for it. Seven hitmen. One Target. One Shitty movie
| So i know that there's a button i can push to make this whole high school diary of mine a thing of the past, but i truly do not want to. Too many memories. I'll always love you xanga. I'll never get rid of you. | | |
| Alright fuck that last list. this is the new and final draft. voila.
10. Kung-Fu Hustle (Stephen Chow) 9. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Shane Black) 8. Jarhead (Sam Mendes) 7. Sin City (Robert Rodriguez) 6. Shopgirl (Anand Tucker) 5. Match Point (Woody Allen) 4. Crash (Paul Haggis) 3. Munich (Steven Spielberg) 2. Brokeback Mountain (Ang Lee) 1. King Kong (Peter Jackson)
And in other news im comin back to school tomorrow. that'll be a good time. maybe then my xanga neglection will end. maybe not though
| So this is proving to be a tough year for you xanga. i apologize. but frankly i don't have a whole lot to say. i would like to break this little drought by treating you to a tentative top ten movie list for 2005. Now this all subject any kind of change what with many high profil releases yet to come *cough* King Kong *cough*. Also this has been a bit of a so-so year. there are a lot of good movies, but no great ones that i would automatically put in a top ten. that being said, here we go.
10. Kung-Fu Hustle (Stephen Chow) 9. The Upside of Anger (Mike Binder) 8. Walk The Line (James Mangold) 7. Sky High (Mike Mitchell) 6. In Good Company (Paul Weitz) 5. Sin City (Robert Rodriguez) 4. Shopgirl (Anand Tucker) 3. Star Wars Episode III-Revenge of the Sith (George Lucas) 2. Jarhead (Sam Mendes) 1. Crash (Paul Haggis)
March of the Penguins was EXCELLENT and will probably find its way onto this list. But that's where i'm at right now. I really want Kong to leap frog ALL of these so i can have a definitive number one since Crash is just a little soft for me.
